The SLP Entrepreneur/Insurance Credentialing for Private Practice SLPs

Insurance Credentialing for Private Practice SLPs

If you are considering getting credentialed with insurance companies, this course will walk you through the process, step-by-step.
When I started my private practice, I was determined to NOT take insurance. I had read countless horror stories about getting credentialed, spending hours on the phone with insurance companies each week, and fighting to get claims paid. I soon realized that becoming an in-network provider was another way to market my practice and serve more people...

So, I took the plunge!

I had no idea where to start, so I read through dozens of posts in Private Practice Facebook groups to piece together the information. Since then, I've seen many SLPs ask the same type of questions that I had when I was getting started.

What will you learn?

I want to make the process easier for others who want to grow their private practice. If you are considering getting credentialed with insurance companies, this course will walk you through the process, step-by-step.  Over four weeks, you will learn the process of becoming an in-network insurance provider in small, manageable modules.

Some of our topics will include:
  • Completing your CAQH profile
  • Submitting your application
  • Signing the contract
  • Submitting claims
  • And more...

Meet the instructor

Adrienne Wallace, MS, CCC-SLP

I am a speech-language pathologist (SLP), entrepreneur, author, and educator. I have a Master's in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and an MBA in Business Administration. I started my online speech therapy practice, Online Speech Services, to offer online speech therapy, accent modification, and public speaking coaching.

Shortly after launching my speech therapy business, I started creating online courses to teach other SLPs how to start and grow their businesses.

For the past two years, I've been guiding other SLPs through the process of getting credentialed. I've realized that there is still a HUGE need for detailed step-by-step actions and videos to walk you through the process for those who are looking to save time and money.

You want to do it on your own, but you want to make sure you're doing everything right. I get it! That's why I created this course.
